Petejc mentioned being itchy and i tried my own remedy which is the goo inside the sword like leaf of an aloe vera plant.
It goes on wet and looks like jelly but absorbs and dries quickly and relieves rash or inflamation. It leaves clear clean dry sealant on the skin surface.
You just cut off a slice the size of an orange segment and rub the soft inside on irritated skin. I use on my face as i am too sensitive for bottled creams.
Aloe plants can be bought in any store from Walmart garden section to Home Depot or Lowes. I buy a big thick leaf for $1,50 leaf at Food lion grocery store on the produce section.they will regenerate the sword like leaves and require no care minimsl sunlight or much water.
